ATEX Systems

The high standards required by the offshore industry often require the need for ATEX systems for use in hazardous area zones 1 and 2.  These ATEX systems require engineering far beyond the specification of normal Ultraviolet disinfection systems.

Working closely with market leaders and ETS UV's sister company atg UV Technology, ETS UV have engineered and designed a new range of ATEX duty/standby packaged products for the disinfection of drinking water for use in harsh and hazardous environments such as oil rigs and ocean going shipping vessels.

ATEX Systems

ETS UV ATEX products comprise of high specification UV chambers built from 316 stainless steel, arranged in duty/standby configurations with double fully integrated SPECTRA control systems to ensure the our ATEX systems are a true duty/standby package.  This ensures full automatic control of the disinfection process at all times.

The leading ETS UV SPECTRA control systems are housed within Extronics Exd control panels and Extronics Exe Junction Boxes designed especially for use within hazardous environments.  These ATEX packages now provide clean and safe drinking water to offshore crews worldwide.
