UV Successfully Treating Cruise Ship Effluent

Treating effluent is most commonly thought of on land by a municipality.  However, this is only one of many locations that need treatment of sewage.  ETS, in conjunction with their sister company, atg UV Technology, has recently installed amalgam UV systems to eight Royal Caribbean cruise ships. Each ship has installed two UV chambers each fitted with either 10 or 20 325W amalgam UV lamps.  UV is regularly the selected disinfection solution as it is a non chemical treatment solution and can be easily retrofitted into the existing treatment process.  For more information regarding effluent treatment with UV please contact Patrick Bollman at pbollman@ets-uv.com.
