ETS' range of treatment systems are proven to improve the swimming pool environment by improving water quality, air quality and safety leading to increased customer satisfaction. UV treatment not only protects against microorganisms, including Chlorine resistant strains such as Cryptosporidium, greatly minimizing the risk of infections; but leads to crystal clear water and vastly reduces the unpleasent chlorine smells associated with indoor swimming facilities.
Ultraviolet systems works in two ways. Its primary action is to destroy microorganisms, bacteria, viruses, algea, moulds and their spores, drastically reducing the risk of infection to bathers. ETS' Ultraviolet systems also initiate photochemical and photo-oxidation reactions within the pool water, eliminating chloramines, the compounds responsible for the cause of ‘Red-Eye', skin irritations and ‘Chlorine smell'.
