ETS validates UV System to New NSF/ANSI 50 - 2010 Standard

Engineered Treatment Systems LLC (ETS-UV) has recently become the first manufacturer to have a UV system validated to the requirements of NSF/ANSI 50-2010 , Section 13.11, UV Cryptosporidium Inactivation. This new requirement was added in September 2010 to the NSF/ANSI 50 standard. Testing was performed in accordance with the NSF/EPA ETV- Generic Protocol for Development of Test/ Quality Assurance Plans for Ultraviolet Reactors. The passing of this test allows manufacturers to certify that their systems provide a 3-log inactivation or greater of Cryptosporidium in a single pass. The previous standard including ANNEX H did not test for nor provide certification to crypto inactivation. ETS has more systems validated to the US EPA UVGM Protocol than any other Medium Pressure manufacturer.
